I always imagined I’d have a kitty first.

My mom and dad asked me at the end of October if I could watch Jack (our family dog) while their house was being renovated and I said yes.

I can’t say I was looking forward to it, but I knew the challenge would be good for me and get me at of my shell!

2 rugs later, Jack is officially well adapted (and adopted) at London Company Way.

He’s 13 so he’s definitely in his latter years. But I’ve really learned to love him and I care for him a lot!

Responsibilities of owning a dog

  • must be fed 2-3x a day
  • 2 walks a day and being “let out” in between
  • full water bowl
  • dog food 
    • I buy him all organic, 95% beef + vitamins and have noticed a world of difference 
    • 1 tsp of mct oil 
    • daily probiotic
    • filtered water
  • annual vet visits ($$$)
  • grooming every 3 months
  • cuddles
  • expect the unexpected! (throw-ups, pees, being sick)
