My Smoothie Recipe

When I first started working at The Nutrition And Wellness Center in October 2015, I did a lot of cleaning, background work, and helping out with the website. It took time to become the Clinical Director that I am today and that position was actually already filled when I got there (by Courtney who we all loved).

So I was in between nanny jobs, and looking for another one, and asked my parents if I could help out (my mom is the naturopathic doctor and nutritionist while my dad joined side her as the colon hydrotherapist in 2006).

Little did I know I’d stay.

It was only after the first week or so of working I began to notice clients really disliked the smoothies and actually sometimes dreaded doing the cleanses. I thought “okay” this is something I can do… Make a good smoothie.

I lived at home awhile before that, and made blueberry smoothies every morning before my work out, and eventually mastered the technique.

Here’s my smoothie recipe I make today! I start with putting all my ingredients in a cup first so I get the proportions correct.
